You can pray for me if you want to, but I’m off to a career fair today. Retirement is overrated. Actually, I’m not sure I know what retirement is yet. I’ve never been busier. I tell people it would be easier if I had a day job.

I still teach adult undergraduate college courses in-seat and on-line.  I volunteer for some non-profits, and head up a committee at Church.  But, I tell my students that education is a life-long experience, and we also work on their resumes and talk about our class instruction in the context of job interviews and workplace-related scenarios.  I’m just keeping up with the times, right?

Well, we’ll find out what’s out there.  Since I left the Air Force I haven’t had to work.  But, why wouldn’t I?  Why wouldn’t you?  This will be my fourth career, and, going into it, I don’t expect it will be as long as some of the first three.  Just the same, God has given me good health, and people still laugh at my old jokes and Halloween costumes.

So, I’m going back on the “market.”  No, not that way.

We’ll keep you posted.
