I’m off to give my annual donation at a medical lab this morning prior to my annual “How Ya’ Doin’” with my doctor next week. These aren’t headlines, unless, of course, you don’t see your doctor at least each year. If that’s the case, you won’t see any headlines from me. I’m ringing you up.

But, here is just a brief survey of the media’s “best” from last night:

Liberals Are Becoming Knee-Jerk Anti-Trumpists

“The left should be encouraging the president’s moderation on foreign policy rather than distorting the truth about alleged gaffes.”

So, was this from FoxNews or another conservative leaning publication? Nope. “The New Republic.” As liberal as it gets. My sense is that they are dealing with the truth in some way.

Tom Sizemore kicked off 2003 set for touching girl, 11: report

This one is FoxNews. Looks like another Hollywood bad actor is finding out how the truth is dealing with him.

Brain implant boosts human memory by mimicking how we learn

This story in “New Scientist” is exactly what I predicted back in 2001. Only, I predicted that the interface would be used to make us all forget that which we shouldn’t: like standards, values, and what others might term as “our draconian religious beliefs.” No chip for me, thank you. I dealt with the truth some time ago.

Chris Matthews: We need leaders with empathy

This from MSNBC last night: “Chris recalls the era of the 1960s, when some leaders had a capacity for empathy, unity, and moral authority.”

Ahh, the 1960s, when truth was thrown out the door and nobody inhaled. I suppose this leaves out the previous president who gave Chris a thrill—well, it involved his leg. I’m not sure what brand of “moral” he’s talking about here, but I must credit him for dealing with the truth.

That’s all for now from the media. Nothing to see here. Just a bunch of people dealing with the truth or not. Either way, the truth is dealing with them. That’s just the way it works.
