Why I’m Voting for Whom: 2016

God draws the line of truth in the culture for us. In John 18:37, Jesus Christ declares that “everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” There are people on God’s side of the line of truth, and then there’s everyone else. So as we look at the culture, not only must our decisions involve where that line of truth is drawn, but should our Lord return on election day, I would want Him finding me on His side of that line. Wouldn’t you?

Are We a Nation without Sense?

When truth slammed into our buildings on September 11, 2001, the unmistakable realization that people could hate our country and the values we represent so much that they would gladly train those who would kill themselves to commit such a horrendous crime, we saw an immediate outpouring of unity and patriotic pride.

War Game Simulation: Hearts

Our nation’s great Armed Forces war colleges have war gaming and simulations centers to help prepare our fighting forces for the real thing.  What can we do or what exercise can we engage that will help us prepare for engaging each other?  How can we prepare for times of disappointment in those engagements even when that worldly disappointment promotes eternal gain?  Is there a simulation out there for us?

But from our perspective, the point where our war turns “hot” is not necessarily when bullets fly, but well before that point when people decide in their minds to suppress what they know to be true—in this case the truth between right and wrong, good and bad. See Romans 1:18.
